Burley Wheels:
07-28-03

Also out of Outlook HQ comes Burley wheels and bearings, to which I happily report, did not arrive warped. More skulls and stuff here, and the wheels and bearings seem to perform about as well as your standard equipment does. Not much to get excited about, but no complaints either. The wheels were fast enough and lasted a decent amount of time. Longer than some of the bigger brands that we’ve tried recently. I've heard that these wheels are made in Australia? (Does anyone remember Cockroach wheels?)

With the wheels cam these bearings, which were rated ABEC 7 and came in an over packaged plastic box. They seemed to be pretty decent. Overall I was pleased with this combination. Not enough to go out of my way to look for them, but enough to consider them again if presented the option. It would depend on the price.

Hey Corporate Types: Why not send in your skateboard gear for review. We promise to review it promptly (unless it is raining or we are busy or lazy). If we think it sucks, we'll get a second opinion. We even pass stuff on to a lucky reader. We love product.
