What is it?

What is it? The Texas Skatepunk Scrapbook is a whirlwind traveling multimedia, D.I.Y., punk rock, film, video, audio, photographic orgy of skateboards and music that made up the Austin Texas and surrounding area.

Part photo-show, part performance. Every show is different. I'd say it was organic, but it's defintely not for hippies... 16mm and 8mm films combine with video and music, often overlapping. After the moving pictures are done you check out walls and walls of photos and scribbles that range in size from tiny to mural sized.

Do yourself a favor and check it out. But only if you like skateboards, film, photography, punk rock, zines, art, music, history, The Big Boys, parking garages, pools, ditches, metal ramps or the Texas Love-in. Otherwise, this isn't for you.
